Chapter II · The Route
The longest of our expeditions, and the quietest. We move between three burial grounds — one consecrated, one paupers', one unmarked until 1987 — and read the parish register entries that placed each name in the earth.
This route is limited to twelve guests. It is deliberately unhurried, and includes long stretches where the only light is the one you carry.
